Download the file "SDS-100_V1_10_00.bin" and "SDS-100_SUB_V1._02_01.firm" and put those files on the SD card in the firmware folder. TETRA is a niche system type in North America, whereas ProVoice (EDACS) was fairly widespread, and still is to some degree.Look at the specs for the bottom one, that comes with a cable. It's 5 volts at 3.4 amps. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. I used the website www.tinkercad.com to edit the original .stl file. It was a fun learning process. Dodge is a great machinist as well as a 3d print designer. If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). If that works, then there may be a problem with the Uniden BC-UTGC cable. If this test still has the problem then there may be something wrong with the SDS100 itself.W2GLD. I have had lots of scanners in my time. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. Check with your motherboard manufacturer or PC maker. The micro can be used to power only. The mini powers and will charge simultaneously if enabled. The Sentinel update to 2.03 went fine and now has the new tuning steps for custom searches, but I don't have any need for them. If it makes any difference, I updated Sentenel first. A small separate rechargeable coin like battery that was just to keep the clock going. Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. Walking down the street, sitting inside or even both hooked up to similar outdoor antennas, and before anyone asks yes ive tried swapping the antennas (outdoor) on the SDS and HT. I had the DMR key included (I believe it was discounted at time of purchase). Last year, just under one year into the warranty, my wife started her car while the scanner was plugged into the car for power. It shut down and would not power back on. fxdscon. It never had a lock, it had a text field in the display available but never functioned. There were some users that were seeing the keypad lock on the SDS100 actually functioning through the Sentinel software in the early versions. However, after a couple lengthy trips to Uniden Repair, I was given a factory refurbished unit as a replacement to my original.
